How to make Google Photos as Live Wallpaper on android
You can use photos from Google Photos as a personalized screensaver or image carousel. However, this is only possible on selected smart devices like Google Nest Hub. Now, you can apply these images to your Android smartphone as a live wallpaper on the home screen.
With the latest update to Google Photos, users can now set the live wallpaper by going to the Memories section. This live wallpaper is updated automatically. You must have Google Photos version 5.22 to access this feature. If you don't have this version yet, go to the Play Store and update the app.
After the app is updated on the phone, you need to follow the steps given below-
- Go to the home screen of the phone and long-press on the empty space of the screen
- After that, the 'Home Settings', 'Widgets' and 'Styles and Wallpapers' options will appear on your screen.
- Click 'Styles and Wallpapers' and scroll directly to Wallpapers
- Select 'Memory' to select photos from Google Photos as live wallpaper.
Now, the carousel will be automatically updated. Note that there is no option to customize this selection and Google will continue to select photos according to machine learning.
