Big brands often take the top 10 results for high-volume keywords, so if you only think of the top keywords, it may take many years to reach the top.
In general, the greater the amount of search, the greater the competition and effort required to achieve organic ranking. But if the keyword search count is low then the number of visitors is very few, to begin with. In many cases, it may be most convenient to look for specific, low-competition search terms. In SEO we call those long-tail keywords.
Use long-tail keywords
Long-tail keyword usually refers to multiple word keyword that is more specific to the content. Good keywords contain 50,000 searches a month, or even 5,000 searches per month. Keywords with very high search volume can also indicate less user intent. Which you can invite visitors whose interests do not match the content provided on your pages.
Don’t underestimate these less popular keywords. Long-tail keywords with lower search volumes are often better converted because searchers are more specific and intentional in their searches. For example, someone searching for "notebook" is probably just browsing. On the other hand, anyone looking for "Best Price Microsoft Notebook under $700" is practically ready to out their wallet!
Use your focus keyword early on
You may have noticed I always use the focus keyword within the first and last 150 words. This is because Google assumes that your focus keyword is important. Keywords that appear early in the content are more relevant to the search and more useful for the viewers.
Increase your keyword frequency
Keyword frequency is determined by the number of keywords per 100 words. For example, if your article is having 1000 words make sure that your content is having at least 10 keywords. Make sure to keep it between 1% to 2% more than that will send the wrong signal to Google.

- Google Keyword Planner - Google's AdWords Keyword Planner has historically been the most common starting point for SEO keyword research.
- Moz Keyword Explorer - Input a keyword in Keyword Explorer and get information like monthly search volume and SERP features (like local packs or featured snippets) that are ranking for that term.
- Google Trends - Google’s keyword trend tool is great for finding seasonal keyword fluctuations. For example, “funny Halloween costume ideas” will peak in the weeks before Halloween.
- SpyFu Keyword Research Tool - Provides some really neat competitive keyword data.
- AnswerThePublic - This free tool populates commonly searched for questions around a specific keyword
The introduction of a blog article must be substantial. After finishing it, the reader should have a very clear idea of the purpose of writing. Make the introduction very clear and detailed fashion.

Use this psychological trick, first tell them about the problems they are facing. So that viewers think you have understood their problems. Then tell them that you are having a solution as well as lure them for some extra tips.
Choose a good title
Your title is the first thing they see when they visit your site. The title must be in the H1 tag and should have the highest font size. Title tag and meta description together can increase your search engine ranking immensely. Just follow the simple steps. Keep it short and simple about 135 to 160 characters, include focus keyword, be clear and descriptive.
Clear intent means your writing should be easy to understand. Content must have sharp, clear, intelligent, and easy-to-understand content so that people value it and will want to keep reading. Five simple steps:

Search engine loves deep content. Content that fulfills users' need, covers the topics in depth. Deep content must focus on:

In much the same way as the introduction, the conclusion should reiterate the main points. It should never introduce new ideas or things not discussed in the actual content. All in all, remember these are the last words your reader will hear from you before passing judgment on your writing. Make them as focused and forceful as possible.
Simply begin by restating the theme, then review the facts you cited in the body of the article in support of your ideas. Try, however, not to repeat the exact language you used elsewhere in the paper, especially the introduction.

A clean URL is easily readable and does not contain any query strings or URL parameters or symbols. People love clean URLs. You can also put some keywords in the URL that will help you rank top. For example instead of http://example.com/product/index.php?category=electronics&id=sony. You should use http://example.com/product/electronics/sony.
